Quality Education
Our primary is to ensure children access quality education. Why? Because quality education is the fourth UN Sustainable Development Goal and is a sustainable means to reduce poverty and bring lasting change.
We exist to ensure girls, women and other vulnerable groups have a fair chance at accessing life-transforming opportunities - be it quality education, healthcare or livelihood opportunities.
We achieve this by providing opportunities to poorly resourced members of communities from underserved geographies in forgotten and remote corners of Northern Kenya. Armed with that, we know these girls and women will be empowered to determine their own future.
Women are the backbone of our healthcare systems from the olden days to date. Rural women face monumental challenges to access quality healthcare due to gender inequality, poverty, and weak healthcare systems. Addressing these complex challenges requires sustained investments in infrastructure, education, and policies that prioritize women's healthcare needs. In Northern Kenya, women often have to spend their meagre resources to access hospitals often hundred of kilometres away - this should not be the case.
